Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
RacePaceKit ("we", "us") operates the website racepacekit.com (the "Site"), a free race pace calculator for runners. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the Site and the choices you have. We have designed the Site to collect as little personal information as possible.
What we do not collect
The Site has no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms that store data. The distances and goal times you enter are processed entirely in your browser by JavaScript; they are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Pace bands and goal-card images are generated on your device.
Information processed automatically
Like almost every website, the Site is delivered through hosting infrastructure (Hostinger), which may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages requested in server logs for security and performance purposes. We do not use this data to identify you.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
The Site is free because it displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Please note the following:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies (such as device identifiers) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- A list of Google's ad technology providers and their privacy policies is available through the consent tool described below.
Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent banner (a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) before any personalized advertising is served. You can accept, refuse, customize your choices, or change them later; if you refuse, ads may still be shown but will be non-personalized.
Your privacy rights
GDPR (EEA/UK). Where applicable law grants them, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data concerning you, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not maintain user accounts or databases of visitor data, most such data, where it exists at all, is held by our processors (hosting and advertising providers) as described above.
CCPA/CPRA (California). California residents may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by California law. Personalized advertising cookies may constitute "sharing"; you can opt out through the consent/ads options linked above. We do not knowingly collect personal information ourselves and do not sell it.
Children
The Site is a general-audience running tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
External links
The Site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
